Wedding fun!

I went to an amazing wedding this weekend. The part that made it amazing was the people! There was no drama, no fighting, no public intoxication, and nothing bad at all. I was very happy, and having fun! One of the highlights of the wedding was the photo booth. Of all the weddings I’ve been to, the best attractions were the photo booth, and a caricature artist. We had fun at both of those weddings. The attractions lightened the mood and made things more fun! There wasn’t time for people to be bored or unhappy, so the only other options were fun! I would love to be a part of more fun weddings like those, in the future!

Waldameer park and Waterworld

We had our company picnic at Waldameer on Sunday. It was one of the best times I’ve had there in years! Usually, I will ride something that makes me nauseous, and the rest of my day will be wasted. This was not the case on Sunday! The other thing that was awesome was that my 5 year old was tall enough to ride my favorite roller coaster. We didn’t win anything at my company picnic, but I still had a blast!

Erie, PA Roar on the Shore

This past weekend, my hometown hosted their 7th annual biker rally, Roar On The Shore. We had a few big name people/bands that joined us, including, Kyle Petty, who led the motorcycle parade on Thursday, Danny Koker, who came and signed autographs Thursday and Friday, Queensryche and a few others. I went 2 out of the 3 days and it was a good time.

There was a small incident that happened and was caught on tape from Saturday night, where a couple of bikers were doing burnouts and one biker lost control of their bike and hit 3 people in the crowd. Apparently the video was so awesome, it went viral! Here is the link…roar on the shore crash

The food was pretty good, and the beer was a descent price! Add in some red bull, make out sessions, adventure time, swimming, and sexy time, you have a pretty great weekend!

Where are you going?

I have been working on a lot of things in my life and this isn’t the first time. I’m sure many of you have been at this stage where you think to yourself, “Where are you going?” Maybe, like myself, you have been there numerous times. So, what do you do when you find yourself pondering this question? I’ve found that having someone you trust to talk and listen to is a great part of figuring out what you want, and how to get there…for instance, the person that is my rock is my husband. He spends a lot of time listening to my bitching and moaning, and giving good common sense advice when I need it. The last time I was looking to change direction, lets just say I had allowed certain people to be around me and it seemed like they were trying to make my life a living hell. I do want to give a shout out to you certain types of people, negative Nancy’s, as I like to call ya, because you inspired me to buckle down and really find out where I wanted to be in life. You see, I like to have fun and I choose to stay as happy as I can. That doesn’t mean I don’t get angry, sad, moody, or whatnot, believe me when I say I have had my days where someone ticks me off and instead of pissing in my cheerios, I choose to take a handful of bubble wrap and squeeze til my hand hurts, and all with a great big smile on my face. It seems that the less time I spend with people who are naysayers the more things I accomplish, but sometimes the naysayers fuel my flames of motivation to keep going. The phrase “you can’t” can be very powerful to a competitive spirit. Does that mean I can make a positive out of a negative? Hmmmmm, I have some thinking to do. Where do we go from here? I am wholeheartedly planning to have many fun, crazy, and eventful things that you can experience with me. I might even give you the chance to make decisions with me, who knows, anything can happen when you don’t know where you are going.

Join me in my journey every Monday, I will post a new blog about where my life has been, is, and where I plan to take it from here.

Thanks in advance for reading, and if you don’t like it, too bad!
